\"\"The data in the JHN database are conditionally<\/a> available to researchers. Interested parties can submit a request for research via a form to the JHN Advise board. See down below for which form to use.<\/p>\n

For a new application, always use the form on this website (old forms will not be considered).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

All communication goes through the secretariatSecretariaatJHN-3@umcutrecht.nl<\/a>. The secretariat handles all questions (including those prior to making an application). Requests outside the secretariat will not be processed.<\/p>\n

The JHN Team reviews the application and subsequently submits it to the JHN Advisory Board. The Advisory Board evaluates the application based on clinical relevance, quality, methodology, feasibility, and the burden on general practice. To ensure this, the Advisory Board consists not only of representatives of general practitioners, but also includes a methodologist and a senior researcher from the Department of General Practice.<\/p>\n

After approval by the Advisory Board, the data request is elaborated in detail together with the JHN operational manager, and a quotation is prepared. Once the quotation has been signed, the delivery timeline for the data is determined in consultation with the researcher; this is typically within one to two months after review by the Advisory Board.<\/p>\n

There are several types of requests:<\/h3>\n

Costs<\/h2>\n

A one-time data delivery costs, depending on the number of hours, a few thousand euros for data and data management. Does it involve larger, long-term projects with multiple data deliveries (follow-up) or involve a patient approach? Then the infrastructure contribution comes to about \u20ac10,000 per year.
